The Research and Development Center has been present in the company since 2010, equipped for all the technical tests and experiments necessary both for the launch of new machines and for carrying out tests on materials. At KMT, we are dedicated to advancing the granite, marble industry through state-of-the-art technology and unparalleled innovation. As the sole manufacturer in India with a cutting-edge Research and Development (R&D) unit, we are at the forefront of industry evolution. Key Innovations and Achievements:


1. Side Entry Technology (2018): We revolutionized the granite industry with our Side Entry Technology, a breakthrough that dramatically improved efficiency and precision, setting new standards for the sector.

2. Dual Housing Technology (2020): Our Dual Housing Technology further elevated industry performance by combining two housing systems into a single machine, enhancing versatility and operational efficiency.

3. Pride 41 Multi-Wire Saw (2022): After four years of rigorous testing and processing 400 blocks of diverse granite varieties, we unveiled the Pride 41, India’s first-ever multi-wire saw. This pioneering technology represents the culmination of our engineering team's expertise and dedication, delivering unmatched precision and performance.

State-of-the-Art R&D Unit :


Our R&D facility, spanning an impressive 40,000 sqm, boasts a processing capacity of 3 lakh square feet per month, covering granite, marble, and quartzite.
The unit is equipped with: Equipment and Capabilities:
1. NG14 Twin Cut Multicutter:
  - Technology: Dual Housing Technology
  - Approximate Production Capacity: 95,000 square feet
2. NG9 Multicutter:
  - Technology: Side Entry Technology
  - Approximate Production Capacity: 45,000 square feet
3. Multi-Wire Saw:
   - Purpose: Ideal for high-efficiency and high-quality granite processing, especially for export-grade materials
   - Cutting Capacity: Capable of cutting up to 10 feet in height
   - Approximate Production Capacity: 1,50,000 square feet
4. LPM 20 Head (Line Polish Machine):
   - Purpose: Optimizes large-scale polishing operations with exceptional productivity and accuracy
5. LCM (Line Calibration Machines):
   - Purpose: Provides superior accuracy in quartzite processing
6. Resin Lines:    - Function: Two resin lines are utilized for different processing stages, enhancing the quality and durability of the finished products
